Cat Gladiators

So my cats now enagage in a simulation of the Gladiators show - minus the big padded shoving/whacking sticks. It surprised me really. Looking back I realize it wasn't a sudden manifestation, but somehow I guess I never expected it to reach these levels of drama. There was the early tension, the chasing, more recently the occasional swatting. Now they remind me of the lion fight scenes with Scar in The Lion King. It's brutal. But apparently still all mildly fun and games to the participants. Hunh.
